Intercom Integration

Automating your privacy requests fulfillment by integrating MineOS to Intercom

This integration allows you to:

• automate deletion requests of user data from Intercom.
  When used, any data or leads associated with the email of the requester will be deleted from your Intercom workspace.

• Automate content classification to detect data types stored in your Contacts, Notes, Companies, Conversations and Tickets.

Important:

• Deleting data or leads will remove all of the user’s conversations from Intercom.

• CSAT ratings and comments from a user will not be deleted.

Before you start

• Make sure your MineOS plan supports integrations.
• Make sure that you have permission to install apps on your Intercom workspace.

Setting up

1. To connect Intercom integration, on the left sidebar, click on “Integrations”  and search for Intercom in the integrations list.

1. Click "Connect" and follow the onscreen instructions to authorize MineOS to access the wanted workspace where you manage your users’ data in your Intercom account, and click “Authorize access”.

2. Click Connect and connect to your Intercom account, allow the following permissions:

1. 1. Read and Manage Users data (Required to handle DSR requests as well as Scan for PII)
   2. Read Companies data (Required to Scan for PII)
   3. Read Conversations data (Required to Scan for PII)
   4. Read Tickets data (Required to Scan for PII)
   5. Read Single Admin (Required to get the workspace name)

3. Once the connection is made, enable the integration and click “Save”.

That's it! MineOS is now connected to your Intercom workspace. You can now delete your customers’ data from Intercom at the click of a button. 

Content Discovery

When using Content Discovery for your Intercom data, you need to make sure you have the required permissions to your relevant data.

Upon content discovery, we will scan your data, and analyze each files's data in our PII Processing Engine. These scan results will be added to the data types of your integration general info.
