(Obsolete) HiBob Integration

Automating your privacy requests fulfillment by integrating MineOS with HiBob

What does this integration do?

• Automatic fulfillment of DSAR (copy requests) by collecting and sending users a copy of their data.
• Note: HiBob integration does not support the deletion of user data or anonymization 

Before you start

• Make sure your MineOS plan supports integrations.

Setting up

Service user creation:

1. Login to your HiBob account.
2. From the top left, click Bob products > System settings and select Integrations
3. From the All categories dropdown menu, select Automation.
4. On the Service users tile, click Manage.
5. From the top, click + New service user and create a new service user.
6. Copy the ID and Token and save them.

Permission group creation

1. From the left menu, select Account > Permission groups.
2. From the top, click + Add permission group and add a new permission group.
3. From Add specific employees click the selection pull down menu and select the service users you want to add to this group.
   
   

API token setup (obsolete, will stop being supported starting 08.30.2024)

1. Login to your HiBob account.
2. Click on the profile icon in the top right corner and then on API Access.
3. Click on Generate token and copy the token.
   1. Note: Your API token has the same access levels as your HiBob user.

1. Login to your MineOS account
2. Select Data Inventory -> Data Sources and search for HiBob:
   
3. Click Add and Open the configuration page for HiBob.
4. Enable "Handle this data source in privacy requests" and select Integration.
5. Paste the API token.
   
6. Click “Test & Save” so MineOS can verify the token.

You're done!

MineOS has been connected to your HiBob account.
