# Integration for Twilio

## Automating your privacy requests fulfillment by integrating MineOS with Twilio

### About the Twilio Integration 

#### What it does: 

- When a DSR of type deletion is processed, it deletes all messages sent to the user's phone number. These messages include both SMS and Whatsapp.
- When a DSAR of type copy is processed, it will return all messages sent to the user's phone number. These messages include both SMS and Whatsapp.
- Twilio requires the user's phone number, you might need to provide it when the integration runs.

Before setting up this integration:

- Be sure to add Twilio to your Inventory. To learn how to add systems to your Inventory, click [here](https://help.portal.saymine.com/knowledge/add-a-new-system).
- Make sure your MineOS plan supports automatic integrations.
- Ensure you have a Twilio account with permissions to create an API key. 

### **How to set up**

1. Log in to your Twilio account.
2. From the upper right corner, select Admin -\> Account Management -\> General Settings.

3. From "Account Details" copy the **Account SID.**

4. Under "Keys & Credentials", click API Keys & Tokens**.**
5. Click "Create API Key" 
     1. Friendly name: MineOS
     2. Region: Leave as default.
     3. Key Type: Standard

     4. Click Create.
     5. From the next screen that appears, copy the API Key's **SID & Secret.**

#### Finish setup inside MineOS:

1. Log in to your MineOS account, and go to Data Inventory -\> Data Sources.
2. Add **Twilio** to your data inventory if it's not already there.
3. Scroll down to the component titled “Request handling”
4. Enable “Handle this data source in privacy requests”
5. Click “Integration” as the handling style

6. Paste the **Account's SID, API Key's SID** & **API Key's Secret** into the designated fields. 
7. Click "Test your integration" so Mine can verify your settings.
8. If successful, click "Test & save to enable the integration.
