# Smartsheet Integration

## Automating your classification by integrating MineOS to Smartsheet

### **What does this integration do?**

- Run classification job to find PII in sheets.

### **Before you start**

- Make sure your MineOS plan supports integrations.
- Make sure that you have permission / user to create api key access in Smartsheet
- Figure out with Smartsheet platform you are connected to. default, gov or europe.
- \[Optional\] **Enable Preview mode** to view sample PII values alongside classification results. The sample values are stored encrypted and automatically deleted after 7 days. You must enable Preview mode before running the scan to see sample values. ### **Setting up for Data Classification**

1\. From your MineOS account, in Inventory page, select Data Sources and search for **Smartsheet**:

2\. Open the configuration page for **Smartsheet** data source.

3\. In the "Request Handling" part select: "Scan this source using Data Classifier"

4\. To Generate Api Key follow the [Smart sheet guide](https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2482389-generate-API-key).

5\. Fill in the Api Key

6\. If you aren't using the default platform, set "Gov" or "Europe".

7\. Test to see if the api key / platform configuration are working as expected.

8\. Click on "Test & Save".

9\. Click on "Start Scan", set confidence level and "Start Scan" again.

10\. A scan will take a few minutes to complete and you can see the results after. 

Note: currently data classification only support sheet cells. attachments and comments are currently skipped.
