Automating your privacy requests fulfillment by integrating MineOS to Mention me

What does this integration do?

Deletion requests are automated by executing a user deletion job.
Copy requests are automated by Sending a copy of the user data held.

Before you start

Make sure your MineOS plan supports integrations.
Make sure that you have permission to enter the Project Settings to get the Api Key and Secret Key.

Setting up for DSR handling

From your MineOS account, select Data Sources and search for Mention me and add it
Open the configuration page for Mention me integration.
Scroll to the Request handling section, check the checkbox for "Handle in Privacy Requests", and select "Integration" style.

Please note: MineOS support Mention me both as Email Integration type (Legacy) and with Automated Integration Type. choose your preferred solution.

On your Mention me account

Go to Mention me site and log in to the Mention me account.
Click on Settings > 3rd party integrations > API
create a new API key for MineOS
Make sure the scopes include the required scopes to Get and Delete customers data:

customers:read, customers:delete
```
After the API key is created, copy the Client Id and Client Secret to the MineOS integration configuration page.
After pasting your API key, click “Test your integration” so MineOS can verify it.
Make sure to check the checkbox for "Handle in Privacy Requests" and “Save”.
You're done! MineOS has been connected to your Mention me project.
