Import Data Subject Requests

In this article, you’ll learn how to import DSRs into MineOS

If you already have requests in a previous vendor's platform or in a spreadsheet, you can import them into MineOS to keep all your DSRs in one place. This ensures better documentation and helps prevent open requests from being overlooked after transitioning from your previous tool.

How to Import Requests Through the MineOS Interface?

  1. Navigate to the 'Requests' page under DSR.
  2. Click the 3 dots menu and select 'Import requests'.
  3. Download the sample file and follow the instructions for required fields and value formatting to ensure your requests are submitted correctly.
Be sure to maintain the column order as shown in the sample.

Scroll down for the detailed requirements for each one of the fields

  4. Once your requests are properly formatted, upload the file and click Continue.

Files must be in CSV format, up to 8MB in size, which allows for approximately 55,000 requests

  5. If errors are detected in the uploaded file, you will receive a new file containing a dedicated column that describes the issue found for each request and provides guidance on how to resolve it.
Download the file, follow the instructions, and resubmit the corrected version.
  6. Once the file is approved, a preview of the imported requests will be displayed along with two configurable options:

    • Process open requests as new
If enabled, an acknowledgment email will be sent to requestors, informing them that their request is now being processed. A webhook will also be triggered. You can view or modify the selected email template under DSR → Edit Right → General.

    • Send verification email for unverified requests
If enabled, a verification email will be sent to requestors whose requests have an Unverified status. Keep in mind that unverified requests cannot be processed within the product to prevent handling or deletion of user data before identity verification.

  7. All set! The requests will appear on the Requests page within a few minutes.
