MixMax Unsubsribe DSR Integration

Automating your delete privacy requests fulfillment by integrating MineOS to MixMax's Unsubscribing

About the MixMax Integration 

What it does: 

  • Automates deletion requests by unsubscribing the customer's email.

Identifies customer records by searching stored data that is related to the customer's email address

Note:

  • Only companies with Growth+ or Enterprise reviews plan will receive API access.
  • Since the delete request unsubscribes and doesn't delete the user, there may be user records remaining after clicking "Delete".

Setup

Before setting up this integration:

  • Be sure to add MixMax to your Inventory. To learn how to add systems to your Inventory, click here.
  • Make sure your MineOS plan supports automatic integrations.

On the system side:

  1. Log in to your Mixmax account.
  2. In the left sidebar, go to Settings > Integrations.
  3. In the API section, click Create Mixmax API Token.
  4. Copy the API key value shown and store it in a safe place.

On your Privacy Portal: 

  1. Head to your Data Inventory and select MixMax.
  2. Scroll down to the component titled “Request handling”.
  3. Select “Integration” and click "Setup Integration":
  4. Click "Next":
  5. Insert the MixMax API key you created and click Finish:
  6. The integration now should have a green indicator it's connected:
  7. Add MixMax Integration to the DSR Delete Workflow by going to DSR Setup and picking Delete:
  8. Add MixMax and click Update at the top right:
