DSR retention in MineOS
Learn what are the retention periods for the different DSR components
Audit log
The DSR Audit Log provides a full record of all Data Subject Requests (DSRs) processed on your platform, retained indefinitely with no expiry.
To maintain your own copy, you can either:
- Download the full Audit Log directly from the platform, or
- Schedule automatic recurring deliveries to an external destination — email, Amazon S3, webhook, or SFTP (learn more)
DSR Requests (Tickets)
- Open and closed tickets — retained indefinitely. Closed tickets are only visible on the Requests page for the past 3 months — to view older closed tickets, use Export Audit Log from the ••• menu.
- Deleted tickets — permanently removed after 30 days from the date of deletion.
DSR Copy Reports & Retrieved Files
The DSR Copy reports are retained for 45 days on Mine's platform. Each time a user clicks Compile Report, the 45-day period resets from that point.
If a longer retention period is needed for Copy reports, you can connect your own storage and define your own policy (learn more).
Files retrieved from integrations are retained for 90 days from the date they were collected. Each time a user triggers Collect or Refresh on a request, the 90-day period resets for the newly retrieved files.
Can retention periods be amended?
Retention periods are not configurable directly in the platform, with two exceptions:
- DSR copy reports — can be extended by connecting custom storage.
- Audit log — can be self-managed by downloading or scheduling deliveries to your own storage.
If there are specific contractual requirements around retention, please contact your Customer Success Manager for further information and assistance.
